Athletics
The Broward County Middle School Athletic Association (MSAA) of Broward County Public Schools is committed to building leaders through sportsmanship, citizenship, and fair play. MSAA currently oversees 59 public and charter middle schools and 8 different sports. The MSAA sports are Soccer, Cross Country, Golf, Basketball, Track & Field Events, Flag Football, Volleyball, and Floorball.
All student-athletes must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA. Students who fall below this standard are ineligible to play.
Prospective Student-athletes
All athletic paperwork is paperless. We are using Registermyathlete.com for athletic paperwork submission. Student-athletes must submit their EL2, EL3, Field Trip Form, U18 Form, and Insurance Card via Registermyathlete (RMA). All student-athletes must upload and provide the data and documentation required in order to become eligible to participate in the Sports programs at Cypress Bay.
PAPERWORK IS GOOD FOR ONE CALENDAR YEAR FROM THE APPROVAL DATE

All forms are electronic and available for download on the system. They should be uploaded upon completion. Prospective student-athletes cannot participate in any activities (conditioning, practice, games) until they have been cleared on the system.
