Innovative Programs

AICE / Cambridge

The Cambridge AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) Program provides Broward County students with a rigorous, internationally recognized curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, analytical writing, and independent learning. Governed by the University of Cambridge, AICE courses align with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards while preparing students for advanced postsecondary study. Students engage in challenging coursework across core academic disciplines, demonstrating mastery through externally assessed exams that value depth of understanding and real‑world application. The program promotes academic balance, intellectual curiosity, and global awareness while fostering responsibility, time management, and perseverance. Successful completion of AICE coursework may result in college credit, the AICE Diploma, and eligibility for Florida Bright Futures scholarships for qualifying students. Through high academic expectations and structured support, the AICE Program equips students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in college, careers, and an increasingly interconnected world.

Cambridge /FBI Stem Academy

The Cambridge/FBI STEM Program blends the academic rigor of the Cambridge AICE curriculum with an interdisciplinary focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Designed in alignment with Broward County Public Schools requirements, the program emphasizes inquiry‑based learning, analytical reasoning, and real‑world problem solving. Students engage in advanced coursework that develops scientific literacy, research skills, and data‑driven decision making while meeting Florida B.E.S.T. Standards. Through collaborative projects and performance‑based assessments, students refine critical thinking, communication, and ethical reasoning essential for STEM‑related fields. Cambridge assessment practices encourage depth of understanding and independent learning, preparing students for postsecondary success in college, technical careers, and research‑driven professions. The program fosters innovation, resilience, and global awareness while supporting eligibility for college credit, the AICE Diploma, and Florida Bright Futures scholarships for qualifying students.
